- “Terra Incognita” is a real thing. “Terra Nonexista” isn’t.
- I tried to use the idiom “took the wind out of my sails“, but instead, I said “took the steam out of my sails”… which is not quite right… but a lot funnier in my book.
- I mentioned that the hog I was having difficulty killing… might be named “Clark Kent“.
- Later on, I mentioned “Axl Rose” and “Welcome to the Jungle“.
- I also used the idiom “cut the mustard” and “cut the cheese“.
- For a long time, I believed that there was no such thing as bad (tasting) bacon, but I eventually found some… so now I believe that bad bacon is only slightly less rare than a yeti or the Loch Ness Monster.
- The pork parasites I talked about are called trichinella spiralis.
- “Pork, the other white meat” was an ad campaign run by US pork producers back in the day when the surgeon general and most doctors were advising Americans to cut down (or cut out) their red meat consumption.
- We spent the weekend in the Columbia River Gorge, and specifically, we stayed in Hood River, Oregon… and here is the web page that has little to say about the place.
- As I entered the Cave of Wonders, I mentioned two other games: Enshrouded and No Man’s Sky.
- I called the Stinger a Pain in the Tochus.
- I made some comparisons to what seems to be happening on this world with what happened on Pandora.
