  • While talking about some thoughts I had about Satisfactory building pieces that would automatically act as a conduit for electricity, water, or other materials.  I specifically used No Man’s Sky as an example of what I was talking about.
  • I used the term “diddly squat“.
  • When I was thinking out loud about the classic balance between form and function, I mentioned Steve Jobs. This also led to a discussion where I compared and contrasted iPhone, Android, and Windows Phone.
  • This then led to a comparison between Microsoft and Apple and their general design philosophies.
  • While talking about the birth of smartphones, I also mentioned the Blackberry.
  • As I talked about the history of microcomputers, I mentioned Robert X. Cringely and his books.
