Survival is a lot easier when you have some local livestock on the property… and so I went out and caught a rooster.  However, roosters don’t lay eggs and so if I am to go into chicken ranching and the egg business, I most definitely need another chicken… before the eggs.   So that will be a major goal for this episode.  However, I seem to be having a problem with party crashers… not that there is much of a party going on at my house… but still… I don’t mind having company, but I prefer to know them and to invite them over before they actually show up.  To that end, I have been receiving some advice in the comment section, and I am going to follow some of that advice to see if my once peaceful little house is returned to that peaceful state.   Of course, there are a zillion other things that need to be done before winter as well… so what are we doing here?  Let’s get to it!
