For a while, it was all about not dying. That was the whole point. But eventually, I got the hang of not perishing or even starving—go me! Now, I’ve set my sights on something grander: dragging my sorry butt out of the Stone Age and into the shiny, and ever so slightly more advanced Copper Age.

Sounds simple, right? Wrong.

We’ve got a bit of copper—just enough to tease us—but not nearly enough to actually do anything useful. So I ventured out to find more, armed with optimism and a pickaxe. It did not go well. In fact, it went so poorly that I died. Like, full-on, game-over, respawn kind of dead.  In fact, I almost died three times… but luckily, once was enough.

But has that stopped me? Absolutely not. Copper is still the dream, the mission, the obsession. This time, I’m going in harder, smarter, and probably just as doomed. I will either emerge victorious… pockets jingling with copper, or I’ll die trying.

Honestly, if I were a betting person, I’d put my money on the dying part. But we’ll have some fun doing it… right?  Right?
